I would love to have what the total happiness modifier would be right by the FIDS when I look at a planet so I can see at a glance what it will be.

If you hover the mouse over the planet's type, it'll tell you what the happiness modifier is for that type. Did you mean 'total' as in 'summing up the type-based, resource-based, and anomaly-based happiness modifiers'?
