Currently the strategic and luxury "windows" in the empire overview are rather small and can only show 4 resource icons regardless of resolution. However on higher resolutions there is enough space to show either more icons (in one row) or more rows.



Here is a screenshot to demonstrate what I mean. I wouldn't mind losing a very small part of the planet list for more resource icon rows. Also the empire modifier "window" in the top right corner could use a second column and the planet list does not extend to the bottom of the screen. This big dark area at the bottom is unused. You should use it to expand the other UI elements of the empire overview panel (1680x1050 Resolution).

I guess I hadn't noticed but you're right, there is a lot of wasted space on that window which I'm sure could be better used with some UI scaling.
