the one thing i miss right now is the fighter ships . id realy love to see even a cinematic fighter force battle , maybe as a race specialilisation of secondary fleet strategie.

I believe carriers and fighters are being considered. Whether they're actually already in development or not I don't know, but many people agree with you that fighters could be a nice addition.

Fighters would be a nice addition to the game and same with carriers. Now if they had a limit on how many carriers you could have per fleet that would be more managable with X amount of fighters.
