In a recent game of mine I found an abundant deposit of hyperium. 

Hoping to gain the upper hand in my game by exploiting this resource I quickly settled the planed it was on.

Once my outpost grew into a colony I was surprised to see that I was not gaining any hyperium.

I tried to send more people to the planed (maybe there were not enough people to collect the stuff), but still no hyperium.

I tried building the building you unlock with the hyperium harvesting tech, still no hyperium.

I build a miners guild which would increase the amount of hyperium I would get, still no hyperium.

Did I miss something which causes my lack of hyperium or did I encounter a bug?

I have the same issue I happend to start on a planet with titanium and Hyperium as unfallen and after researching the tech I was only obtaining titanium.  My friend playing as rift born was also not obtaining hyperium

Same problem here. So far it seems to only be a problem with Hyperium. Titanium always works. But I haven't gotten far enough to try other strategic resources yet.

I'm not 100% but I think it only occures on planets where Titanium is 1st in the order as I have another planet where its hyperium above titanium and both are being harvested but on my home world where Titanium is above hyperium in the UI its not being collected even though I should be getting 3 a turn from that deposit.

So it seems Hyperium cna be harvested its just not working on certain planets
