Strategy, What else?



Amplitude Studios is an independent gathering of experienced video game lovers (and developers) based in Paris, with a single idea in mind:

You could say we’re video game veterans as the team members have worked at key dev positions on a lot of pretty well known franchises such as Battlefield, F1 Racing Championship, Ghost Recon, Call of Juarez, R.U.S.E and Might & Magic.



Let’s make GAMES 2 GETHER!



During all these years, we have always had fun working with communities of players in order to share, discuss or compare ideas. The whole team shares the dream of bringing this idea one step further with what we call GAMES 2 GETHER. We’re aiming at creating a brand new way for players around the world to participate in the creation of a video game, and we'd like to accomplish the first steps with you!

i like the idea of asking the community what it would like via a voting system, right i have now downloaded the game and now i will go away and enjoy it

I love the concept of making the game together, however, I have to ask. Isn't it three times the work? Instead of making one design of one ship for example, three have to be made and then await for them to be voted. Just seems like more work for you devs.

Pretty sure this. The main difference seems to be we are getting to choose rather than just the developers. I wouldn't be surprised to be honest if they had more than 3 alternatives and just chose what they thought was the better 3 and gave us the final vote.

If put that way, then we're simply helping them make the game without much extra from their side work. A win-win scenario.
