What are they used for ? I just can't see what is their interest. Anyone guessed it ?

Cravers are one of my favourite races so far, being able to gain research points whenever you defeat a ship in combat is amazing early game, any information on what Locust Points do would be much appreciated!

Also, iirc...

Cravers gather locus points each turn they are on a planet.

It gives them a bonus (FIDS +50% if memory serves) for the first 50 turns on a planet, nothing for the next 50 turns and then a malus and the mention "depleted" on the planet from turn 100 (-50% if memory serves, yet again) onwards....

It fits with the lore around the cravers who overburden the resources.

The FIDS bonus and drawback is 25%. There is a create-your own race in thread in the G2G-forums where you can find all the information on faction-abilities etc.

Thanks, Sharidann and Alderbranch! This makes me love the Cravers even more~ Planet depletion is just cool. Heheh, it also gives a valid reason for constant expansion...

So in fact we just need 3 tags on planets : overgrow, usual and depleted. I can see the depleted on planets, but I don't see the "overgrow" one.

It's mentioned in the Craver Affinity section, but unless you keep track of the exact turn you conquered/colonized a planet, it's somewhat hard to remember, haha! Perhaps normal is 'Colonized' or 'Inhabited'. The 'Over-Consumption' modifier could trigger from Locusts affecting FIDS, or perhaps a negative random event after development of Perpetual Consumption, but before you have Post-Consumption society?... I think I'm misremembering the tech names, but still.

What I want is that as a cravers I want to be able to know in a glance what are the over-consuption planets and the depleted ones.
