Will there be a physical edition that I can buy in a store or online? I like the Emperor and Admiral editions on Steam, but I want the box and CD inside. I love collecting games IRL, and those cool posters that are included in boxes always get a spot on the wall if they are good. I would love for there to be one if there already isnt, I havent found any information about this on the forum so far.

Physical edition in stores cost more to sell than digital versions. You have to pay for printing discs, boxing, shipping, stocking, and shelving fees. Physical editions for sale online would be kinda cool, but unless this gets some serious attention and funding, i doubt there will be a store version.

Physical editions are only made when the game reaches gold. Is finished and send to the press to be printed in other words. So if you want one you'll have to wait for gold to come, which it will after the beta.

Is there a posibility to get a digital Version Code and afterwards the physical Box, after the Game is finished? I'd like to help with the Alpha and Beta Version and even would prebuy it, but I don't want to have just a digital Version. Is it somehow possible?

i am 100% shure when the game is officially out there will be a dvd of this game in all the shops in the world

I mean: I want to only buy a physical (DVD) of the Game, not a digital Version. But this means I will have to wait untill the game is finished.

There is a possibility though, to prebuy a digital Version and start testing the Alpha. Now, if I want to test the Alpha, I will have to buy first the digital - and later the physical Game. That of course would somehow be a waste of money.



So the question is: Is there a possibility to prebuy a key - that I can use with a physical Version later, without obtaining the game two times? I'd like to start testing the Alpha, but I don't want just a digital Steamversion of the game for several reasons. Of course I can work with a digital version now, too, but after the game is finished I'd like to buy me the physical game. And I would appreciate if I don't have to buy it twice to do so.



Are there any Admins or Producer of the Game who know a answear?

They have to make a virtual shop here where you can buy digital or physical edition. If you have already buy the digital edition (in alpha/beta), you can order a standard

edition (means a dvd) with your redeem code from G2G + the transport. And by adding "x€" + transport you can order a collector edition (my dream).



The problem is physical edition cost lot of money and it's not feasible for an indie studio. Amplitude seems pretty young. Maybe in the future.

But I would like a collector edition with dvd game, OST on cd, poster with the tech. tree, one artbook signed by the artists, figurines based on the ships... (<--- MY DREAM !!)
