It seems to be and I was wondering if that was why it took so long to end turn later in game.



EDIT: Came up with another question.



Why is it that when I research the tech's that allow my ships to have a certain % more holding weight, nothing changes?

As for the long load times it is a known bug, I don't think the game is limited to memory, just that the AI overproduces ships which take a long time to process.
