Question in the title. See; I'd much rather name my colony Lübeck, rather than Lubeck. Münster rather than Munster, etc. etc.

This is by no means a deal breaker (especially seeing as how I've already purchased the game <_<.)

But at the moment when I put alt-0252(ü) I don't get anything. And for a few other characters all I'm getting is -'s and _'s rather than ç's and è's.

I'm just wondering whether or not I'll be able to name all of my colonies the same names provinces in EUIII have >_>.

Yep that's it. Cya.

We fixed that in the Alpha 2 update: we changed the directory folder for saves (it used to be under "Users"). So you can use special characters in your Steam alias but it just won't show in game.

Edit: also, we forbid those special characters in the Alpha 1 as people were getting the "IllegalCharacters in path" error that didn't allow them to save their game.
