HI all,

I was just wondering, between the planet name and the planet itself you can see the planet output: improved x/50, normal x/100, and depleted.

Does anyone know what and how this actually does on the production?

Sorry if this has already been answered but didn't find it anywhere...

Thanks

This is for the Cravers' special racial "feature".

The first 50 turns after a planet is colonized, you get a +25% bonus to FIDS. The next 50 turns are normal, and after that (100 turns after the colonization of a planet), it becomes a -25% penalty to FIDS.

The x/50 etc. is the "locust points" (+1 per turn), which is basically the gameplay representation of how Cravers consume worlds and dry up resources.

One thing I'm still not too clear on is how the special craver tech for Intensive Cultivation Logistics works (the tech that gives bonus food on explored moons in the Diplomacy and Trading tech branch, available when you research Accelerated Yields). It says "-50% Locust points on planet quality (default)", but I have no idea what that means.

My best guess is that it slows down locust points (so you'd get 1 every 2 turns instead of 1 per turn), but that's really just a guess. I have no idea what the reference to "planet quality" might be.
