Can't seem to invade?

Was ground combat disabled in the Beta or something? It doesn't have a bar and no matter how long I leave the ships they don't seem to invade.

Did you click the two-fists button?

Have you enough power ? Because if you don't even have enough the bar won't show as you're not really doing any damage. The defense versus invasion has been hugely raised up.

Remember that the game no longer displays an invasion bar - it has been changed to a 3d ring below/around the planet, showing both sides as a "tug of war" slider. (This is currently bugged at times so that it doesn't appear - a reload of the savegame should fix it)
