I just played as the Pilgrims and was testing out the diplomacy. I took over 4 planets and that was it. I uncovered the entire map (it was the 4 player spiral) and found that only my capital had trade routes for some reason. Why is that the case?

I am also new to this game, but I like it. The trade is not very well explained. There are many things you can build in your cities to increase the trade cap. However, I am uncertain if the trade is domestic (as in between your own planets or solar systems) or if it's between races/empires. If it's between empires, then that's terrible because I don't seem to have any diplomatic actions to make friends with anyone. The best I ever get is cold war. smiley: frown

Could someone please explain trade a little? Thank you!!

Well I know it is between you and empires you have a ceasefire with unless you are the Pilgrims. They get trade routes regardless. The problem is they are supposed to generate automatically yet I only saw them made on one of my 5 systems.

you must build improvements to increase the cap. systems other than your home have a base cap of 0/0. trade is automatically initiated with explored systems that are ceasefired with you or like you said if youre pilgrims you can trade with anyone and through blockades as well.
