How exactly do you clear a ship's path? I can't tell you how many times ships get entangled in a convoluted path just because I clicked somewhere else or wanted to change the ship's direction.

Can you upload a picture to explain? Just saying that its complex doesn't really give us an idea to help with.

Whenever you right-click to move a fleet, it creates a path until the destination is reached. Whenever you right-click somewhere else, instead of creating a new path, it just stacks on to the old one. How do you reset said path?



Ex.) I right click to a new star. The ship moves halfway and stops because it is out of moves. I decide I want to go back to where I came from so I right-click where I started. It stacks a new path on top of the old one instead of clearing it. The ship has to move to the new star first, then back to where I started, wasting a turn.

You can't change direction while between stars. It's not adding onto the old path, but it must go to the end of the star lane.

I suppose I'm just used to other 4x games then. I'll just have to be more careful about when and where I travel.
