Hey, after capturing systems, they always start at 0% approval or "Rebellion". Does the Rebellion part have any actual impact other than reduced FIDS? Will the system actually rebel creating a new Empire to face? If anyone has any info on this, please comment smiley: smile

It's always been at Strike when I conquered a system; Rebellion should be an empire-wide approval rating, not a system-wide one. Strike basically means your system is useless without a good administrator running it.

I've pretty much only noticed this. The lowest a system goes is strike, while it's the empire's approval rating that goes so low as rebellion.

I've been there a few times when I felt like being a greedy UE and jacked my taxes all the way up to make some quick money for two or three turns. But all that seemed to happen was my FIDS going away. There doesn't seem to be any other kind of penalty right now.

If they remain at Rebellion for several turns, do they actually rebel? Or just produce less, and nothing else?

For now, yes.

Maybe they change it in a later version
