[Accessibility] Color Blindness Issues

I'm color blind (Red/Green, I see green as weaker than it is) and I've been playing the alpha for about 5-6 hours now. Good game, if a bit rough, but it's an alpha, the fact that it's as stable as it is, is amazing.

However, I have also noticed at least one issue that I'd like to point out in hopes of getting it changed, so I figured I'd make this thread in case I or someone else find more.

ISSUE: Teal player color is too close to the neutral system color

I can't tell the difference, at all. I don't see any gradient in the connections between the systems, or any discernible color difference between systems colonized by the teal player and neutral systems.

Proposal: Change the teal color into a darker shade OR change the symbol for neutral systems to be another shape than the colonized system one.

I'll post more if I find them, and if someone else finds something, as there are many variants of color blindness, feel free to join in.

I was going to post this in an upcoming big list of things (after my first game) but since you already did...

Yes. For me, the majority of the team colors in the game are too close for me to readily identify without flipping back and forth between multiple screens. I would say a far more effective way of averting the color issue would be to simply apply adjectives to each civilization in a game. This would also help differentiate empires of the same race and avoid having to find some sort of color that works for everyone, which is possible but I feel is still less effective than providing multiple ways of identification.

For example, right now we have Hissho, Hissho, Hissho, Sophon, Sophon, Horatio, Horatio, Horatio. Without color or between ones that are similar in color choice, they're not really easy to remember and identify. But what if the game did this (adjectives picked for purposes of this example)...

Concrete Hissho, Serene Hissho, Ministry Hissho, Crazy Sophon, Concrete Sophon, Serene Horatio, Concrete Horatio, Crazy Horatio.

Now, even without any color, a player can more readily associate and identify any given civilization. As a side effect, this also gives each civilization an additional implicit backstory without any additional effort. Concrete 'whatevers' would, by proxy of using an Endless faction name, suggests these guys identify with that faction. For a race like the Horatio, it also provides interesting ramifications for a race of clones.

Moving this thread to FAQ temporarily as to not forget to ask a dev to look into it.
