Specifically next idle ship & next idle planet/system

It seems hotkeys were left out of the Alpha. Maybe the game is intended for console release also?

I have suggested F1-Fx for the different overviews. Your suggestions are great as well.

I have noticed that in system view, left and right arrows change system. Ditto for looking at planets (next/previous planet).

The one key I keep hitting is escape to bring up the main menu and it never works.

Oh man. ESC for the main menu, F1-FX for the different screens, keys for next idle ship/system/planet? Yes. I want all of those so bad.

The only keys I'm familiar with are WASD for (slowly) moving the camera around in the galaxy screen.

(I didn't know the arrows changed systems/planets! Nice.)

I'd also like a way to minimize and dismiss event notifications so I can just go "yeah, ok, done, next" without having to move my mouse around the screen a lot.

Speaking of the notifications, is there any way to view a log of them? I often try to leave it for a bit (Minimize instead of Dismiss) because I want to make sure I give each planet a new assignment, and sometimes click Dismiss out of habit, and then a few systems idle for lengthy periods of time.

It would also be great if you could get an overview for all the ships. I mean there is the military window, but that one is full screen. Just a little window to know which units you still need to move would be enough. Or something like the feature of SC2 with Idle Workers. I think also GalCiv2 has something like that.

Right know I don't see on the first view which ships I still need to move...thats quite annoying.

Nice to see that ESC consistently goes back a screen from most everywhere; but yes having ESC bring up the Save/Load/Exit/Options menu to make it consistent with the vast majority of games on the market would be most welcome.

Ooops. I wrote too soon. It appears at least some of the end-of-turn notes such as "Research Complete" cannot be closed by pressing ESC.

Right-click on the small notification icon downer right side of the screen closes the notification without reading it, but it also works if you previously opened it with left-click. so you don't have to move your mouse back and forth from the icon to the popup while reading/closing many of 'em.
