This is more like an question AND suggestion. If this has been answered, i'm sorry smiley: redface

After playing few multiplayer games with my brother, we have seen some weard stuff, thought we could not figure out, why are the Colonized System not happy?

While we compared stats, other systems with slighty different stats had better "stats" on system, like Happy, while others with better stats were like Content.

IT would be great to add and feature that would allow to see, what is wrong and why is there that -40 from planet! Because it's quite annoying to see -40 on planet while the stats are great and i have tried everything to change it!

Thanks!

Well each planet has a -smiley: approval except for Terran, Jungle and Ocean planets, if you hover over the planet type, it will tell you that. Also anomalies have an impact on happiness, for instance poor soil has a -10 smiley: approval whereas garden of eden has a +20 smiley: approval.

Each system has to have a total of 100 or more smiley: approval to be fully happy (ecstatic) and the happiness can be improved through improvements like infinite shopping, (can't remember the exact name) Terra-forming, and of course, cutting the anomalies.

People hate the idea of you colonizing other planets. IT causes much strife and divorce.

Chances are, your very good stat systems are full-blown colonies and thus subject to expansion disapproval, while your systems with bad planet types or anomalies got colonized last and are still outposts. It takes 30 turns for an outpost to turn into a colony and suffer from expansion disapproval. And it hurts.

Please hover your mouse over the -40 to get a breakdown of the unhappiness. Please also read the threads in the FAQ and guides sub-forums about "expansion disapproval".
