How to remove System improvements.

I see a lot of mention on the forums about removing food/trade improvements when they are not necessary. I know how to change planetary exploitation, but I don't see how to even see what system improvements have been constructed in a system, let alone removing one.

Is this possible?

To the extent of my knowledge, no, you cannot remove a system enhancement once it is built. If there's an option there, it has to be hidden, because I haven't seen anything hinting at the ability in my month of playing.

I think most of that talk is removing them in the sense of hiding them in the list of things to build. They're still there, but people want to not have to look at options that would do a particular system no good.

It is possible, on the right hand side of the system view where your hanger is, it is actually a two tab window just like the left side. Change this to improvements and you will get a list along with a scrap button.

Some of the names might be a bit off since I am not looking at the game, but there should be plenty of info there to do it.
