Each of the modules does something different.

For instance,

High energy couplings +40% min, max damage on weapons

-20% hp on ship

as compared to

Gravitic Energy, +10% min, max damage on fleet weapons

-20% hp on ship

Notice how one says weapons, and the other says fleet weapons. This means that gravitic energy applies to all ships within the same fleet for the damage bonus, while the hp penalty only applies to the ship that is carrying the module.

And that is what I have missed. Thank you very much for the headsup.

I'd like to add a question: Are the effects of the modules stacking? LEts say i got 2 Ships equipped with a Neutrino Capture Module, does my fleet get a +20% bonus or *110 *110, or maybe just one 10% bonus and the rest is useless?

Thanks in advance for clearing it up...

the bonus goes 2x I believe, although I'm not sure the bonuses are worth it vs just adding weapons on those ships. The weight cap late game is a little frustrating why is there a tonnage cap in space after all.

All percentage multipliers are additive, like D&D (x2 and x2 stack to x3). The game computes the "base value" before all % multipliers, then adds in each % multiplier calculating the bonus from the base value.

FIDS income works the same way. (planets + flat => base + [base*%] + [base*%] + [base*%] => total).

Think about it as cubic tons, problem solved. And do like me always get some trait to extend your tonnage, and feel the comofrt the other one has even less of it smiley: wink

Thanks a bunch. I'll make some crazy shit with that knowledge, or maybe not - who knows.
