Is there a way to top load a queue?

I queue up many items, but when something new is researched I sometimes want to put it at the top of the list. It is really difficult to drag that thing from the bottom of the queue to the top.

Is there a key-modifier, or some other way to top-load the queue?

No. It's a commonly requested change, but there are several of those. The devs have to prioritize, and this doesn't seem high priority.

Alright, no worries. It's an awesome game nonetheless.

I wonder if this is something I could do via modding or scripting. Like a macro? I will have to research...

I don't believe there is a keystroke to move a selected item up the queue, only through dragging, so making a macro would not be a likely solution...and I'm pretty sure that the hooks necessary to mod it in to the UI do not exist currently either. However, if you manage to find a solution, I'd love to hear it
