Star System Improvements

Are those working properly? Or, are the description for system improvemets correct? Maybe I've missed something in the tutorial but I don't understand how they work. Here's an example:



Turn N:

Medium Arid planet (the only planet I have colonized in the system), 5/6 population, alien grafting exploitation, no system improvement, producing 1 dust over the system



Turn N+1:

Same system, same planet but 6/6 pupulation (theoretically +5dust production per pop due to the planet type, so +1 pop>+5dust), xenotourism agencies (theoretically +1dust per pop on arid planets, -2upkeep, so 6 population would be +6dust-2dust=+4dust from system improvements), so theoretically speaking again I would have +5dust+4dust=total +9dust production on dust system production, increasing the dust system production from 1 to 10.

Sadly is still 1.



If I'm missing something important or obviuos please forgive me but ATM I don't really understand.

You're missing to include the tax rate into that calculation. At 50% tax you get 100% revenue, or maybe better said the nominal revenue.

If your tax rate is lower, all dust revenues are scaled down, if it is higher, scaled up. smiley: wink

Thanks guys for your quick answers. The post davea linked explain why the production has not increased.

p.s. I've tried to switch the tag from unaswered to answered but it seems i cannot change it. Again please forgive me as I'm new to the game and the forums smiley: smile
