Hey everyone,



I love this game so far, as spaceships and 4x make my heart aflutter and I haven't really been able to get into a game like this since MoO2.



I don't know if I am missing something, but so far the technology tree is driving me crazy. I am used to starting a 4x game for the first time and sitting for hours in front of the tech tree learning about everything and figuring out what exactly I want to do. In this game the tech tree drives me crazy! The different technologies tell you the names of the things they unlock, but I can't find a description of what they unlock anywhere! Some are obvious like "unlock battleship" but most of them are extremely confusing and it seems I will have to play a lot of games before I get even a limited grasp on the tech tree.



For instance, right now I am way behind on fleet size in my game and I am trying to expand my fleet past 7 points. However, none of the technologies in the left most tree give me even the slightest clue which one I need to research in order to upgrade my fleet size.



Is there some sort of civilopedia type resource I am missing here?

Oh I see! If I don't mouse over the things they unlock come up and I can mouse over them! Thanks for the help!
