are there keyboard shortcuts listed anywhere? if so, can someone kindly provide a link?



it would be especially useful to be able to select planet exploitation *without* going into the planet screen.

Currently there are no shortcuts.

well... that's not quite true. Escape takes you up a level. But really... no shortcuts... that's just silly.

From the game manual: Keyboard shortcuts



Esc / Right mouse click: closes the current screen and returns to the previous menu, except for

the galaxy view.



Galaxy View

o WASD / Arrow keys: move the view

o Num-Enter: ends the turn

o Return: opens the chat interface (multiplayer)



Fleet selection in Galaxy view

o Right click on destination star to issue a move order to the selected fleet

o Shift + Right click: queue up move orders for the selected fleet

o Ctrl + Right click: force free movement (once the proper technology has been

researched)



Battle View

o H: Hides / shows the user interface



Battle View / Free Camera mode

o Arrow keys: move the view

o Mouse wheel: changes the camera angle

o Mouse right click + pan: rotates the camera view

o Ctrl: sticks / unsticks the camera on your fleet

Regarding the Battle View / Free camera, how hard would it be for you guys to make it like Homeworld 2 controls? (so you can 360 degree rotate, zoom in / out, Focus on a specific ship and rotate / zoom on that particular one - but should upgrade the individual animations!). Hmmm am wondering if - maybe for the expansion - we could see more live action and view control of the fights as they play a big part in placing you there where the action takes place
