Well how does it work?

Want to make an automotn build, the tech tree is nice. Gets terraforming soon, defensive fleets=money, and some convertions from stack industry to stuff.

Do i have to "not build" in order to get it stacked, and how much does it gets stacked, and wat happens if i lose the system..?

All factions get stacked industry, but automatons get 5x the system industry, whereas others only get 1 turn of stacked industry (this lets you keep all your industry if there isn't something queued up) Automatons also get 5% interest on this stacked industry each turn, but if you are building anything, it will be hard to make much use of this 5%.

It is possible to exploit the stacked industry by waiting to build an upgrade. For example, having a full stacked industry right when magnetic field generators is researched, you can quickly build it on all your systems in a turn or two.

The automaton tech for +15% interest is a huge boost. With 20% interest, you can essentially double your industry if you are careful.

For example, if you have a 1000 industry system, and keep > 4000 industry stacked, then you get 4000 *.2 = 800 industry per turn interest. If you build ships that take 900 industry, then you can pump out 2 of them a turn instead of just 1, or a single ship that takes 1800 industry, and keep the same amount of stacked industry on the system. And, if you need a sudden boost in fleet size, you can always use up the stacks for 5 ships in one turn.

As for terraforming to terran, that certainly could be very powerful, on the tech, it says terraforming to terran requires quadrinix. Is this a glitch for automatons? they can research terraforming for only 4k science, but quadrinix is 25k science, which would make the terraforming tech useless. I haven't played a game that far with automatons, so I'd be interested if this is the case or not. I'm not sure if this is intentional, or an oversight.
