For the "Power Convergence" card:
• Does the +300% apply only to the next card's effects on yourself, or does it also apply to the next card's effects on your opponent?
  • Does the +300% apply only to the next card's positive effects on yourself, or does it also apply to any of the next card's negative effects on yourself?
  • Based on the XML, it doesn't appear that it's +300%, but actually multiplies the effects by three. Therefore, if your next card has a stated effect of "-20% your kinetics defense" (as an example), does it mean that it will be -60% (i.e., -20 * 3) with Power Convergence, or +280% (i.e., -20 + 300) with Power Convergence?

  •
Thanks.

As far as I know, it is:

    1) On yourself and your opponent.

    2) Positive and negative effects.

    3) The multiplier is = +300% = 3. So it would be -60% in your example.

If thats the case im never using the card again.

But if this is the case it would be confusing. It would make the playing field pretty much even again. (Unless your card cancels theirs.)

I dont see why they should get the benefit when they don't have the hero.

    I think im ranting again...

That was for the case that your card had a negative effect that would benefit your opponent, e.g.

    Camouflage:

    +40% (+10%) missile defense

    -20% (+20%) kinetic projectiles

You gain missile defense but lose kinetic damage.

In the case of no counter and power convergence, this would amount to

    +120% missile defense

    -60% kinetic projectiles

again, as far as I'm informed. Maybe a dev can comment, if that is entirely correct?

I'll check that on Monday because I'm not sure for the negative effect. But overall, Nosferatiel is right =)

    Thanks, Meedoc!

In addition, please let me know if negative effects to your opponents are also multiplied by three, for example:

    EMP:

    -20% efficiency for enemy antimissiles

    -20% efficiency for enemy shields

Do both of those become -60% in the phase after playing Power Convergence?
