Support Module: Power . . . each tier is a downgrade?

Im clearly misunderstanding these power modules as they seem to be downgrading as you progress from T1 to T4. What Im seeing is for the T1 module, its +40% damage. For T4, its +10% damage on fleet. For T6 its +12% on fleet without the HP penalty. Certainly T6 is a decent upgrade to T4, but T1 seems to be vastly better than T4 and T6.



Is there a differnce between weapon damage (T1) and fleet damage (T4 and T6) and can anyone explain it to me please?

The T1 only affects the ship in question.



The T4 affects the while fleets weapons, but with a penalty to the ship it is used on.



and the T6 one give a bonus to the whole fleet without a penalty.



It's a choice, do I want a better attack at the expanse of losing HP, being particularly bad at T1 because of the lost tonnage and HP on every ship that uses it.

Thanks Igncom1, I understand the first is for the ship and the upgraded ones is for support type ships (I dont usually use support ships).

The T6 is better on your combat ships than the T1. The boni are cumulative. Six ships with the T6 module get +72% damage. With T1s you save some tonnage but lose damage and a lot of hp.

It would be nice if there would be a module which gives damage at the base of CPs. That would make bigger ships more useful.

For example a destroyer (1 CP) would get x% additional damage. A dreadnought (4 CP) would get 4x% additional damage.

I think that a great deal of my frustration with the underperforming nature of the largest & most expensive hulls (Battleship and Dreadnought) would be solved if the developers implemented your idea.

did this ever make it to the suggestions forum? I would perhaps go a bit more extreme, 4% for destroyers and smaller, cruisers and battleships get 8%, and dreads get 12%. Would help with glass canon fleets which I still see (certain hero combos make missile gcs unbeatable)
