Please forgive me if this has been addressed previously, but I typed in a search, looked a few pages in, and didn't see anything. Perhaps someone can answer it here...



Do repair modules allow for a single ship to repair the entire fleet it is in? For example, I've been building Fleet Tender ships with the goal of boosting healing, movement speed, and sight radius fleet-wide. I've recently been re-reading the descriptions, and I'm starting to wonder whether my "cleric" ships have any real repair value for the entire fleet.



For the Repair modules:

SW: +10 fleet HP per battle phase on ship; +40 fleet HP per turn (friendly sector) on ship

IT: +10% ship repair per battle phase on ship; +2% ship repair per turn (friendly sector) on ship

AG: +120 ship HP per battle phase on ship; +40 fleet HP per turn (all sectors) on ship

LH: +2% fleet repair per battle phase on ship; +2% fleet repair per turn (all sectors) on ship



Does:

SW only increase the standard (as per that fleet) rate of healing/phase by +10 for that ship only, or for all ships in the fleet?

LH only increase the standard (as per that fleet) rate of healing/phase by 2% for that ship only, or for all ships in the fleet?



In other words, have my extra-orbital band-aid boxes been been selfishly healing just themselves, or is there value in this type of ship?

If I remember correctly, SW and LH modules repair all ships in the fleet. The values are quite small, so I suppose it won't be much noticeable with only one ship providing the repairs. Sacrificing a bit of tonnage to get +2% per ship is much more effective in my opinion.



Only the ship that has the module benefits from the repairs if it says "on ship," and it is fleet-wide (can be stacked) if it says "on fleet."
