Been playing for awhile now and two things I've observed are really confounding me.





#1: I keep losing all of my trade routes. Like 20 turns ago I had 8 active trade routes, now I have none. I have Blockade Breakers so a war breaking out shouldn't be the issue. I haven't in any way reduced the route per planet(they are all listed as 0/1, 0/2, 0/3 ect...). This has happened in a few games now and is very frustrating as I suddenly lose a portion of my income/science I rely on and can't even tell what I've done wrong. If there are any other requirements to keep your trade route active I'd appreciate hearing them







#2: In one of my games I have a mysterious -20 happiness on all my worlds from "faction traits". I don't have pessimistic, but I do have Sheridan Intergrity. Here's the thing: I haven't made a single deal in the entire game(and this can't have broken any). Is Sheradyn Integrity bugged? Or is that -20 happiness coming from somewhere else?

Supposedly the Sheredyn thing is bugged and ALL deals affect you, not one you make so that might be it.



As for your trade routes I can only guess, but have you checked your empire tab and looked at the trade screen? It is possible your trade routes moved to different planets since it is automated. If that isn't the case, idk if this is the case, but perhaps if you are trading with planet A and that planet gets blockaded it also stops your route? The only other thing I can think of is that you aren't at peace with anyone and you can't trade if you aren't at peace.

Blockade Breakers means you can have trade routes during Cold War, not during War. So yes, a war breaking out IS an issue for you.

Right- I noticed that this morning. Must have changed in my 14 honth hiatus from the game- back when I played originally Blockade Breakers+Endless War was all the rage.

Ok good to know. Additionally it seems to me I get hit with the Integrity penalty every time anyone declares war on me.
