I am very anxious to buy the FULL PACK of Endless Space, but first I just want to confirm something which is not 100% clear to me not having played any games online ...

It says: "Once your order is completed, you will receive your activation key for endless Space ...

Simply enter your activation key on Steam to start the download of your game.

Okay, I downloaded the Steam app., and I pretty sure what it means, but I want to know this ...

Is it a FULL game for my computer to play on my HD or do I HAVE TO play it online?

I believe that it's just an option, and would like to play online, but I want BOTH options ... Mostly playing the FULL GAME on my Mac.

Sorry for the Newbie question, but this will be my first game download ...

You have to install steam and download it via steam. Steam has an offline mode though, so you can play without being online.

You'll need to have a Steam account and download the game from Steam. After that you can play the game offline all you like, but it will still run from within the Steam program.

Yes ... no matter what I do it keeps saying "Incorrect login" ... I don't understand cuz I did the confirmation thing & all ... neither the site nor the app. lets me log in ... thank you for any help ... I'm really anxious to play the game but will have to wait till I can log into the app ... thanks again ...

Perhaps you are accidentally putting in the wrong username/password?

Make sure when you're logging in, you're using your chosen username, not your email address, and also note that passwords are case-sensitive.

No, I've made sure about that ... they seem to not care about service as I've received nothing, but the standard ROBOT blurb from them ... Darn, I really wanted to buy the game ...

Considering they have millions of users and they're the number one digital distributor for PC games, I don't think they just "lose" people. Try to make a second account, and if that doesn't work either it might be a problem on your end and not Steam's.

Okay, I finally got in ... ! It is odd cuz it was my 3RD registration that worked ... and even more odd cuz they use my first UserName ... which I guess matches my gmail ... but anyway ... I'm logged in and it seems kewl ... btw, do we need to do anything in the router to fine tune the app. ... ? Seems not ... busy week at school this week, but next weekend is a long one ... so I'll be grabbing the FULL PACK then ... Thank you for all your kind help and advice ... have a good one ... !

It could be steam ports that are being blocked.

Required Ports for Steam

If you are behind proxy you will have problems because most proxies block steam ports. If that is the case you going have to download it from a computer that has a direct connection to the internet.
