I was wondering if I need the repair module to repair ships per turn. I don't want to scrap ships just because they are damaged and cannot repair themselves.

Can we invest dust to fix it?

Yes, you will need repair modules. Check their descriptions too, only the more advanced work on "every" terrain, the starting ones only repair your craft in friendly territory. That being said they usually provide strong benefits in battle and are well worth their tonnage (IMO). Some heroes can pick abilities that enhance the repair-per-turn on fleets.



Even if you spend dust to "upgrade" ships it will not repair them.

I just noticed that my fleet repaired itself slowly over time even without the repair module. Sweet!

Sometimes if my fleet are at a friendly system and they got ships in the hanger or just there guarding I will swap ships around.
