ive tried numerous games on normal difficulty, slow speed, and largest map size. its seems that on turn 2 im already way down when compared to the AI score. im not new to strategy games and i dont have much difficulty at all on civ 4 and 5 on their hard and very hard settings but this game seems to be stacked against me. after 100+ turns i have a similar sized empire with maybe 1 or 2 factions who are noticeably larger but i am always last or 2nd to last in all categories. can anyone give me some guidance or direct me to some sort of guide for the first 50 turns of the game? apparently the only thing u need to do is massively expand in this game to win but i literally cannot produce colony ships any faster and im still falling behind.

I found the first thread I am posting helped me with the start and the other might cover some items that get missed or forgotten I have not read this thread entirely. It is common to be behind at the start as the AI does cheat.
