Horatio affinity has +100% fatigue recovery on hero, what that actually means?

How does player benefit from fatigue recovery?



I read game manual and search google but can't find the answer :/

Basically, if you assign a hero to a fleet, and the fleet gets destroyed, then the hero has to "recover" from his injuries before you can reassign him for work elsewhere. You can also pay to skip the recovery period, but it'll cost you. The Horatio affinity basically halves the recovery period, so if you and your enemy lose your best Heroes in a case of mutual destruction, you can have your Hero back up and running another fleet before your enemy has recovered.

I noticed trough hero abilities that your answer is related to healing of hero, there is a hero ability "-40% on healing a hero"

It confuses me why that ability doesn't say "-40% on fatigue recovery on hero" instead of healing a hero,

it also confuses me why horatio affinity doesn't state "-100% on healing a hero" instead of fatigue recovery?



English is not my primary language but it sounds to me that healing a hero is not the same as fatigue recovery on hero :/

Maybe in endless space fatigue is the same thing as healing but it doesn't make sense to me...

The -40% is cost related - so it'll cost you less dust.



the -100% from Horatio is time reducing, so the waiting period is over faster.

To be honest, I never used that ability, but now I see the difference lol
