In some games I'll hit a point where no matter what I choose to research, it'll show as taking 999 turns. A few times I've hit that, kept playing, and had research start up again, but most of the time, once it does that, I can't get any new tech.



What causes that and what is the way around it? I never have figured that out.

The thing I d like to know the most is the faction you are playing. If your answer is Harmony or Vaulters then I pretty much know the reason already
