Since release of the auriga patch (1.1.27) I have also been getting these "index out of range exception: array index is out of range" -crashes.



Yesterday I started a new game and by the turn 168 I've had 5 crashes titled with "index out of range exception: array index is out of range".

Any update on this devs? Curious since I have seen it too. Some thoughts could be custom race since I hadent seen it tbefore using custom, possible issue with routing hadent seen it before I discovered how to route. Or possible issue with disabling certain win features such as disabling science win. I could see an index out of range if it was attempting to check a science win or warn of a science win and that was not an option

I just got this same error today! Why is there no reply to this thread by the Devs? I was thinking about buying Endless Legends but if this is still buggy then maybe not smiley: frown

Fix this already... This error is exactly the reason i have not been able to finish A SINGLE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's the journey not the goal that matters, or that's what I tell myself as my journey ends somewhere around turn 200 each time I try to play this bugged mess.

I get this at least once pretty much every time I play.



Almost always you can press continue, exit, restart the game, and load your autosave. If that doesn't work, then just load the previous autosave before that turn. I've never had that not work.



Sometimes you can simply press continue, click on a different fleet, and continue about your business. I've also bypassed this by opening the fleets screen and closing it.



It would be awfully nice not to have to hack the game every 20 minutes, though.

Sorry about the delay, we have been pretty busy lately. Is is possible for you to send us more information about the issue?



  • Information: an actual description of your issue can be great (what were you doing exactly when the issue happened? when did it happen? etc.)
  • Specs (OS version, OS language, Anti-Virus, Drivers up to date?)
  • Game files: right click on the game in your Steam Library > Properties > Local Files > Verifiy integrity of game cache
  • Output log (PC: Steam > Steamapps > Common > Endless Space > Endless Space data. Mac: Library > Log > Unity)
  • A save (you can zip it and attach it to a post) / screenshot
  • Game version: you can find this at the bottom left corner, in the game menu - please make sure that your game is up to date (check the release notes for that)
  • Anything relevant (example: playing with a mod, classic, Disharmony expansion etc)
  • Multiplayer: provide the specs and logs of all players in game
