Tried to google for it but with no luck.



I've been toying with custom faction thingy, whanted to get custom images for it as well. Since no easy way exists, I've copied Disharmony Public_xp1 folder into (\Documents\Endless Space\Disharmony\Modding\) and added my Amoeba clone faction with images that way (editing Factions.xml, Index.xml, adding PNG 32x32, 128x128, jpeg for wide picture, that stuff). Created a mod basically.



And it works fine on my PC at work (Windows 8.1, Intel HD2000 Graphics)

But same mod on my home PC is not doing so great (Windows 7 SP1, GeForce GTX660):







I'm seing this white images with red question mark instead of actual images. What is really wierd that even thumbnails for mode descriprion which comes from orginal disharmony (jpeg files) are shown that way.

What's the problem? I've tried running windowed, fastest graphics, same settings - no luck.

OK, I've figured that out.



That's because my Windows user name spelled in Cyrillic and/or with dash. For some reason game engine is kinda racist. With pure Latin user it work fine:
