Tech trade issue (or bug)

(I posted this on Steam but someone mentioned I should rather post it on Amplitude)



Playing Disharmony, with only Diplomacy VC enabled

As the Amoeba, I offered an Alliance to an Automaton AI players in the deal I asked for 2 techs from the Automaton, Extreme Metallurgy and Graviton Manipulation.



The deal was accepted, but the techs didn't unlock in my tech tre (nor next turn).



I've searched the forums about this, I hace read that there are some limitations to tech trading, in particular about race specific techs or hull relate dtechs. However i'm not sure it applies to my own issue. Anyway I don' t understand why if the deal is accepted, the confirmation message clearly listing those two techs as part of the deal, why I don't receive them in the end.



The way I understand unable to trade a tech, is that the tech won't appear in the trade option at all. But having the tech displayed in the trade option and accepted in the deal and not receiving it seems like a bug???

Interesting. I'm seeing this behavior in my game as well. I can successfully trade tech for other things (if I can get the AI to go for it -.-), but it fails on an alliance treaty. I can't test on peace, truce, co-op, or open borders at the moment, so I don't know if it's a general treaty thing or specific to alliance. I think I recall getting some techs from the initial peace treaties, but I cannot swear to it.
