Hello,

Both my friend and I have Disharmony. We play through steam. The game runs very well for us both, single player, no worries there. we decided to try out a multiplayer game, but, when my friend tried to join my game, he returned the following error:

"Connection Failed. Disharmony version used by the sessions host is not activated".

The game is fully up-to-date, and runs very well solo. Any idea what could be causing this. I've looked for options to register the game key. I have a G2G account which I logged into online in a browser just in case the game needed that in the back ground.

Any help would be brilliant.

Kindest regards,

Russ.

The error makes it sound like the host launched the game in vanilla mode, but that doesn't seem likely. Do make sure the host selects Private Multiplayer, but I assume you did this as well.

Hello,

I was the host. It was definitely not vanilla mode, I can confirm that. I also selected private multiplayer too.

Quite perplexing!

Thank you for your response.

If you haven't already, I would try having your friend host. I'm not optimistic it would work, but maybe it would give a clue.

Hello,

That'll be our next attempt smiley: smile. We haven't had a chance to try since. I'll update if it does or doesn't work for other viewers info smiley: smile.

Kind regards,

Russ.
