maybe there is a patch recently?

Every time when i click load game on main screen, it crashed. If not crashed, it lagged lots.

I reinstalled the whole game and delete all save file but it is not changed.

Also, there are several crash in irregular turn.

Before, I have no problem on playing even after turn 200. I cannot play the game now Please help!

It would really help the devs if you could post your output_log.txt from your Steam folder right after a crash:

YOUR STEAM FOLDER\SteamApps\common\Endless Space\EndlessSpace_Data



This will help narrow things down.



It's also useful to know what version of the game, some details about your computer and operating system and if you were playing a mod.

A work-around seems to help here: start game and wait a few seconds on the black screen. Hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete and cancel out of the menu. You should be presented with a pink screen, this is the opening credits. Either wait or click through to get to the ES loading screen and the game runs fine after this.



A windows 10 update changed something that is causing this.





(notes: ctrl+alt+delete means to hit all three keys at the same time)

"Try going into the game's directory in your Steam directory, right click the executable, set it to run as admin in Windows 7 compatibility mode. That worked for me (launching from Steam it will obey the properties you set on the executable, its just like a shortcut)"
