Hi

I bought and downloaded Endless Space Gold (including Disharmony) this morning from Steam, installed it, the opening titles all ran well. From then on every text box started with the % symbol and in effect not a single text box makes much sense, making the whole thing impossible to play.

What do I do?

Hello MartinHiggs,

The localisation file might be corrupted.

The issue should be fixed if you verify your game cache (right click on the game in your Steam library > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game cache). If the problem isn't fixed, you can try reinstalling the game, but make sure you also delete the game folder created in your documents.

I have the same exact issue. i have a clean install, all files are successfully validated. Still get this error. I suppose ill try another clean install.
