just bought ES and am experiencing black/pink screen of death....



have tried all alleged fixes and nothing.



looks like support on here is non-existent as well, as it appears that no issues have been replied to or resolved for months....



I've played Endless Legend to death and wanted a change of scenery and decided to try out ES. Seems like Amplitude has forgotten ES exists and does not support it anymore. My impression of this studio went from great to disappointed real quick.



I guess Amplitude goes on the "do not trust" list.

Allow me to clear up a few things:

- Endless Space was released in 2012. Since the release of Disharmony in 2013, the team has moved on to Endless Legend, and then Endless Space 2. This means development had ceased on the game long before Windows 10 was even announced, even longer before it was out. Compatibility issues happen. We try and help where we can, but we can't account for all the differences between the two operating systems that may break features or make them bug out.

- We are still around to help. Most of the threads on the first page of this forum have the icon next to them, showing that a member of the dev team posted in it to try and help solve the issue reported.





Now, if you do want help, you'll need to give us more information than just your operating system. While Win 10 has been a problem with the game, it is usually in conjunction with another factor. For instance, in this thread, Win 10 and laptop GPUs trigger a problem very close to the one you're mentioning. Several users offer steps/workarounds. Please take a look and let me know if it helps. If it does not, please join a DXDiag to your next post so we can investigate what the problem areas might be..
