I have recently purchased the Endless Space Emperor Edition + Disharmony DLC, and it is a fantastic game.



My issue however is that I have two computers, one at work, which I have installed the game just fine, and another at home, when I try to install the game, I get the error from the title.



Both computers have similar specs.



The computer at home has the following:



Win 10 Home (admin account)

Intel i5 3570k + Intel 4000 IGP

8 GB ram

500 GB HD (about 180 GB free)



After searching around a bit, for that error, this seems to somehow be on Steam's side, however when I ask for support I'm being re-directed in here.



Any ideas on how to solve this error and install the game eventually in my computer?

Ok, it seems that there is a work-around on this. This seems to be an issue for people that have signed up for the beta steam. If you open the Steam client, head to Steam ->Settings -> Account and where it says "beta participation" unflag your account from that. The game should install normally after that.
