Hi,

My brother and I wanted to play a game with four AI and since the private multiplayer do not work (I read it in another tread and we try). We lauch a public multiplayer game and lock the AI slot (it work fine ... no human player could enter our game). But when the next day we load the save game, tha AI slot were unlock and not able to lock it again.

What happen is other human player enter the game.My question is : It is possible to lock the AI slot on reload or to you have a work around to play a private multiplayer game?

Normaly we always play multiplayer with the LAN option but I know that this option is not there yet.smiley: frown

P.S we are on the same region on steam, same version, same house !!!!

Thank you (sorry for my English it is not my primary language).

Hi,

When I create a private multiplayer my brother do not see my game in the lobby and when I invite him nothing happend. He his on my friend list and we play other multiplayer game via steam.

I do not know if it is a configuration issue, but we do not receive any message on our desktop while we try to connect.

The private game mode works fine for me and I use it regularly. Since you say other Steam games work fine for the two of you, I would focus on why the invite does not even show up for him. One thing I might try in that case would be to log into steam for you and to endless for you. For him I would log into Steam only and be listed as online. Do not load Endless on his end. Send the invite to him through Steam. It should (if recieved) auto launch Endless. My thinking on this is that perhaps the program is seeing your local LAN connection and the routing of the invite is not occuring due to that.

Also do any of your other Steam games not have a local LAN option and work? I ask this because for some broadband providers there are configurations that must be enabled to allow a person to send internet traffic up stream and back down to the same IP or another IP in the same subnet.

And if it sounds crazy ....well you have a glimpse into my troubleshooting. LOL good luck.

We start a new game last night with uour recommendation and it workssmiley: cool

So now we can play a private multiplayer game.

P.S. Yes, it is the only game we play via steam without LAN support.

Thank you.
