I have been playing quite a bit of multi past few weeks, and from this experience wrote these short points:

1- Matchmaking lobby from all over the world. We really desperately need this.

2-"Fair" multplayer aimed map generator. It means everybody more or less gets same chances on start, not one person with 6 terran systems and one with 3 arid in wormhole encased constellations.

3- Fair hero selection for all players at start, atm a person who doesnt get a production/builder hero is seriously handicapped. To make it less "same for everyone" i guess it could be coupled with previous point (a bit worse planets, better heroes). But maybe keep it simple and just one prod , one admin , one combat hero for everyone at start.Later in game it isnt so game breraking.

4-Enabling descriptions for games in lobby for example: "no hisho , no quitters" "veteran players only".

5-Making mp play as fast as possible, endless in itself takes a lot of time. Ideas : Retreat for auto battles, an ui to choose cards for auto battles. (i heard these ideas are alrdy going around)

6-Feature for host switching while in game.So even if host quits , game continues. Maybe on start of the game ui to choose secondary and tertiary host?(so poeple with good internet and no firewall problems can be designated).

As complicated as it seems, i think it could be in most part implemented with existing mechanics : just saving and reloading the game in background for new host.

7-Nerfing bushido (hisho).Yes its important imho.

101% agree with you. I believe that the region barriers are the Achilles's Heel for this game, and it's probably the one thing keeping most people from enjoying the game to its fullest potential. And, quite frankly, I have no idea why those barriers were there to begin with. Language barriers? If you could name your games, that might be less of an issue. Or maybe have selectable lobbies so you can choose which language lobby you would like to use?

Again, agreed. Sins of a Solar Empire handled the map balancing really well; I think it would also be possible to balance multiplayer maps without relying on mirrors/copies.

I think each player should get the same classes of heroes. Meaning, each hero has two "classes"; the game should pick six classes (including doubles, obviously) and distribute them to the heroes for each player.

Agreed. Games should be able to be titled, even if it shares the 20-character limit.

It's already a G2G vote. Just vote for "Battle Actions in Auto"

I don't think this is such an issue right now. The region barriers, as I said, are probably the biggest multiplayer issue, by far.
