Hey guys,



My issue with the multiplayer is that no one seems to join my game/server (Ah! The world has turned against me!)

I tried turning off my firewall, but it didn't help no matter how long I waited.



Another similar issue is, sometimes, when I join someone's server, it's just a blank screen with the background of spaceships and planets moving about.

In this case, I can't see the actual lobby.



Could these two be related?

Do you happen to see other lobbies? It might be a region thing (not enough players in your region, so some people found that switching region helped them). Check your firewall but also programs such as Hamachi.

Ping really matters, so merging regions would actually be terrible and cause even more desync issues.

Really guys, add a TCP/IP multiplayer option if you are not able to get the game running properly on steam. It is just pathetic.



On topic: Me and my friends are having similar issues with hosting multiplayer games. For some reason, I am the only one who can host a game. We tried hard in the first weeks and now we just wait for a patch to make the game playable for us. Sadly, we just purchased it to play MP and were not able to finish one ♥♥♥♥ing game...

You guys should merge regions and display ping. While de-sync issues suck, there being not enough players to start games at all sucks more.
