still working on models smiley: biggrin i wan't them to be as detailed as possible, don't expect an update in less than 2-4 weeks... it takes a while untill i model it the way that i like, i have allready trashed everything and am starting from scratch. Because i did not like the result... now i am modeling at high poly like allways and will try to reduce afterwards.... hopefully it will pan out.

Engine from Starfury V2.. still working on it smiley: biggrin but i am starting to like it.. way too much polys for now.. but i will try to reduce when i am done.



Engines Ready.. now moving on to the Ship,

Just got an Email from Amplitude with infos on Ship Polys smiley: biggrin



- Small: 10k



- Medium: 15-20k



- Large: 30k

Hey Guys smiley: biggrin this is my first post, here. Im looking for an Babylon 5 Mod Projekt to join and help make a Babylon 5 Mod possible.



What i can do:



High Poly 3D modeling (3dsmax)(never tried low poly but i am on it)

UVW-Texturing (still learning.. for now i can do diffuse specular and AO-map)



Programs i use:



3dsxmax

Photoshop

xNormal



i am working on a model right now to demonstrate my skills.



I will post it here when i am done

You could* literally fire up the game and manually count ploys on the ships. Even a rough guess would work

currently playing around with 3dsmax to create a United Empire Space Station.



Still a lot to do though smiley: biggrin problems i think are, that i don't know what kind of poly count the engine can handle and how to define where the station would actually shoot from smiley: biggrin

Building stuff from scratch is Easier than modeling after an Original

iblise is requesting that perhaps in *addition* to building some B5 models, you could build some models which are simple starbases. Even if they do not look like B5, they would be a valuable addition to ES.

that is why im looking for mod team.. once it is possible to edit game models..etc there is nothing stopping an Babylon 5 mod.
