hey i was just wondering if anyone could give me a step by step walkthrough on how to add a mod i got online to the game. because it was not very clear

1. extract the content of the mod into the folder C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Endless Space\Modding

2. rightclick endless-space in your steam-library and select "properties"

3. click starting options under common

4. enter "+mod NameOfTheMod" in the field



If you want to use several mods at once, you have to copy the files of several mods into one folder. This shall work as long as not two mods change the same files. In this case you might see parts of at least one of them not working and it would require manual merging of the files.

Ail's instructions are a little more comprehensive but essentially it comes down to the same thing. It's a sticky thread and not too hard to find. That said, I believe mods should contain clear installation instructions on their download page. (And I've tried to set the right example with this).
