ENDLESS™ Space is a turn-based 4X strategy game, covering the space colonization age in the ENDLESS™ Universe. You control every aspect of your civilization as you strive for galactic dominion.
To verify that I can get the mod file structure working, I made a simple and easily noticed faction trait (+1000 industry on system), applied it to a custom faction, and started a game. It works fine.
If I save that game, quit to the main menu (or to desktop), and load that save file, the custom faction trait is no longer in effect.
Every new game I start uses the effect, every game I load from a save file drops it.
I don't want to spend time on mods if I can't load modded games. Where should I be looking for solutions?
EDIT: Fixed. I forgot to put Serializable="true" in the SimulationObjectDescriptor tag in EmpireTraitDescriptor.xml.
