As the title suggests, I've got a quick question about kinetics. When I use multiple dreadnaughts that pack 50+ kinetic weapon batteries, the number of projectiles they're throwing down is kinda obscene and it really bogs down the frame rate. Is there anyway to fix that in the game settings, or would editing the # of projectiles emitted in the game xml files help?
I find that graphics cards are barely used by ES. My current rig is my repurposed bitcoin mining rig with a minimalist 2.2 ghz processor but quad-linked ATI 6870s, and my diagnostics indicate ES RAM usage is under 4 GB at all times, main GPU usage rarely exceeds 15%, but main CPU usage hits 100% very often.
