2. What keys for a screenshot?

2. I just use Alt+PrintScreen. Don't know that there is a specialized screenshot key.

Do you mean other then Steam\steamapps\common\endless space\EndlessSpace_Data\output_log.txt? (or ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player_log on Mac)

2. + 3. F12 on Steam. Then, when you leave the game, a screenshot manager window should appear; click on "show on disk". Otherwise, press "printscreen" and copy paste in paint and save.

Basically right - if F12 doesn't work, checking the Steam settings helps - People like me have customized this button. (To change it / check it: Steam --> Settings --> Ingame)
