I've been going over the how-to post, but I'm really not all that good with code and it doesn't cover anything close enough that I can wrap my head around it. What I'm wanting to do is this: I find it a bit odd that all the entry level technology is resource free except for the missiles, and since I tend to use a generalized design for any given ship and a fleet setup that works well for me, it prevents me from using missiles (or really any later tech; I usually just depend on numbers in early tech to make the difference). I feel very limited by this, and I'd like to remove the weapon/armor/shield/etc resource requirements. Or at least just the entry level missile. Could anybody help me figure out how to do that? Thanks in advance!
